8 Best Searchable Alternatives in 2026, Plans Compared

Searchable includes three AI engines on every plan and sells the rest as add-ons, from $125 a month. Eight alternatives compared on engines, prompts, articles and price, with every rival fact dated. Cituna checks seven AI engines daily and writes the fixes from $39 a month.

Published

Searchable sells AI visibility tracking and content production in one platform. Which alternative fits depends on the engines your buyers use and on how many prompts you need. Below we compare eight tools on engines, prompts, articles and price, with Searchable Pro as the baseline.

Fair-comparison note:

We build Cituna, one of the alternatives below. Every rival figure comes from that vendor’s own page on the date shown, and where a page is silent the tables say so. Tell us if anything is out of date.

Searchable’s plans, the baseline for this list

Searchable’s pricing page, read October 8, 2026, lists four brand plans, and every alternative below is set against the first one:

From searchable.com/pricing, October 8, 2026. Monthly prices; annual billing takes 20% off.

Annual billing takes 20% off any plan, and Pro and Scale each start with a 14-day free trial. Every plan runs prompts daily and includes unlimited countries and seats, citation and competitor tracking, agent analytics, AI shopping data, exports, an MCP server and API access. Looker Studio and white-label reports start on Scale, and data is kept for 12 months on Pro and without limit above it. Searchable’s FAQ also names agency plans, Launch and Growth, with the same 14-day trial.

The detail that matters most is the engine row. On all four plans the same three engines are included: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity. Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Grok and Claude, plus cheaper Lite versions of Claude and Grok, are paid add-ons, and the page tells you to add them after onboarding or to talk to sales.

Why buyers compare it

Three things on Searchable’s pricing page send buyers looking:

  • Gemini, Claude, Grok and AI Mode cost extra, at a price the page does not show. A team that needs any of them cannot see its real monthly bill before onboarding.
  • Pro covers one project. Ten projects, white-label reports and Looker Studio wait for the $400 Scale plan.
  • Twenty articles is the Pro allowance. Teams that publish more need Scale’s 80.

How we chose these eight

Each tool had to pass three tests, with Searchable Pro kept as the baseline rather than counted as an entry:

  1. It tracks AI answers for prompts you choose, recording whether engines mention or cite your brand. Content writers with no tracker and classic rank trackers were left out.
  2. You can begin on your own: a published price and a free tier, a trial or a plan you can buy online, as Searchable allows on Pro.
  3. Every fact is the vendor’s own, and dated. Searchable from its pricing page, October 8, 2026. LLMrefs from its pricing page, October 7, 2026. Promptwatch, Writesonic, Trakkr, SE Ranking, Goodie and Gauge from each vendor’s pricing page, October 1, 2026. “Not stated” means the vendor gives no figure.

Each entry is then set against Searchable Pro’s four limits: engines included without add-ons, prompts tracked, articles a month and the monthly price. Cituna comes first because it is ours. The other seven follow in order of their lowest paid monthly plan. The numbers help you find an entry; they are not a ranking.

The 8 best Searchable alternatives in detail

1. Cituna (best for seven engines daily, with the fixes written)

Cituna asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode your buyers’ questions every day, on every plan, so the four engines Searchable sells as Gemini, Claude, Grok and AI Mode add-ons are part of the price. You see which prompts name a rival and skip you, your share of voice against the brands in each answer, and the pages each engine cited. For every gap Cituna drafts the change: structured data, FAQ markup, an llms.txt entry or an edit to the page. AutoSEO writes 30 articles a month on Starter, 90 on Pro and 300 on Max, held as drafts by default or published to WordPress, Shopify, a GitHub repository or any CMS by webhook. Search Console is connected natively, unlimited page audits come with every plan, API keys work on every paid plan, and MCP read access comes with Starter and MCP write access with Pro.

  • Best for: a startup or brand team whose buyers use Claude, Grok, Gemini or AI Mode and that wants the fixes and articles done, not only reported.
  • What it costs: Starter $39 a month (one brand, 10 prompts), Pro $119 (three brands, 30 prompts, five seats), Max $399 (ten brands, 90 prompts, 15 seats), all seven engines on each. Every tier is on the pricing page.
  • Where it falls short against Searchable: far fewer prompts per dollar (10 prompts on seven engines is 2,100 answers a month on Starter, against 9,000 on Searchable Pro’s three), no Microsoft Copilot or DeepSeek, no white-label reports, and a 3-day trial that asks for a card against Searchable’s 14 days.

2. LLMrefs (best for eleven engines for one fee, weekly data)

LLMrefs sells one flat plan. On October 7, 2026, the LLMrefs All in One plan was $79 a month, marked “limited time only”, for 500 prompts across eleven engines with Claude, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI and DeepSeek among them, no per-engine fees, unlimited team members and projects, CSV export, API access and a 7-day free trial (llmrefs.com/pricing). LLMrefs results refresh at least once a week.

  • Best for: a team that wants five times Searchable Pro’s prompt count and a long engine list on one bill.
  • What it costs: LLMrefs is $79 a month.
  • Where it falls short: weekly data where Searchable is daily, and no articles, audits or fixes. See LLMrefs alternatives.

3. Promptwatch (best for four models you pick, Claude or Grok included)

Promptwatch’s Essential plan is $95 a month for 50 prompts and 6,000 responses, tracked daily on four models you pick from a list that includes Claude and Grok, with MCP, API access and a 7-day free trial. Promptwatch Professional, at $245, lifts the pool to 150 prompts and adds AI crawler logs and five AEO articles a month; Promptwatch Business at $579 is sold after a demo (promptwatch.com/pricing, October 1, 2026).

  • Best for: a technical marketer who needs Claude or Grok without an add-on, with MCP and API from the first plan.
  • What it costs: Promptwatch is $95, $245 or $579 a month.
  • Where it falls short: four models at a time, half Searchable Pro’s prompts, and no articles until the $245 Promptwatch plan. See Promptwatch alternatives.

4. Writesonic (best for a content tool that also tracks)

Writesonic began as an AI writer and now tracks AI answers too. Writesonic’s Starter plan is $99 a month, or $79 a month billed yearly, for 50 prompts tracked daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, plus 15 articles a month. Writesonic Basic, at $249, doubles the prompts to 100. Perplexity, Claude, Grok, AI Mode and Copilot come only with Writesonic Enterprise, after a demo, and Writesonic starts free with no card (writesonic.com/pricing, October 1, 2026).

  • Best for: a content team that wants writing and tracking under one login, with Gemini in place of Perplexity.
  • What it costs: Writesonic is $99 or $249 a month; Enterprise is by demo.
  • Where it falls short: three engines on every self-serve plan, the same count Searchable includes, with fewer prompts and articles. See Writesonic GEO alternatives.

5. Trakkr (best for one brand on eight models, with articles)

Trakkr Growth is $100 a month, or $1,000 a year, for one brand: 50 prompts tracked daily on eight models including Claude and Grok, 25 articles a month, three seats and MCP. Trakkr Scale, at $500, covers ten brands and adds the REST API. The Trakkr 14-day trial asks for a card (trakkr.ai/pricing, October 1, 2026).

  • Best for: a single brand that wants Claude and Grok included and more articles than Searchable Pro’s 20.
  • What it costs: Trakkr is $100 or $500 a month.
  • Where it falls short: no Google AI Mode or Microsoft Copilot, half the prompts, and a second brand means the $500 Trakkr plan. See Trakkr alternatives.

6. SE Ranking (best for AI tracking inside an SEO suite)

SE Ranking’s Core plan is $129 a month, $103.20 billed yearly, and tracks 100 prompts daily on five LLMs (SE Ranking’s product menu lists AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity trackers) next to its SEO toolkit, Search Console and Google Analytics integrations, API credits and MCP. SE Ranking Growth, at $279, moves to 250 prompts, and an SE Ranking AI Search add-on gives 200 more prompts for $89. The SE Ranking 14-day trial needs no card (seranking.com/subscription.html, October 1, 2026).

  • Best for: a team that wants Searchable Pro’s prompt count with Gemini and AI Mode included, and classic SEO tools on the same bill.
  • What it costs: SE Ranking is $129 or $279 a month.
  • Where it falls short: Claude and Grok are not named, and you pay for an SEO suite you may already own. See SE Ranking AI Tracker alternatives.

7. Goodie (best for optimization work bundled with tracking)

Goodie Core is $399 a month for 120 prompts tracked daily on five models (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Copilot), 50 optimizations a month, Goodie’s AEO content writer, MCP and five seats, with a 7-day trial. Goodie’s yearly billing gives two months free. Gemini joins on the $999 Goodie Pro plan after a demo, and Claude and Grok need Goodie Enterprise (higoodie.com/pricing, October 1, 2026).

  • Best for: a team weighing Searchable Scale that wants optimization work and content in the plan, with Copilot and AI Mode included.
  • What it costs: Goodie is $399 or $999 a month; Enterprise is custom.
  • Where it falls short: Gemini at $999 with Goodie, and Claude and Grok only on Enterprise. See Goodie alternatives.

8. Gauge (best for 600 daily prompts on six engines)

Gauge publishes one self-serve plan, Growth at $599 a month with a one-week free trial: 600 prompts run daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, 18 articles a month, five seats, GA4, Search Console and MCP. Gauge adds Claude and Grok on Enterprise, or on Growth with your own Anthropic or xAI API key, billed by that provider (withgauge.com/pricing, October 1, 2026).

  • Best for: a larger brand that has outgrown Searchable Scale’s 500 prompts and wants six engines without add-on fees.
  • What it costs: Gauge is $599 a month; Enterprise is custom. See Gauge alternatives.
  • Where it falls short: no Gauge plan below $599, and fewer articles than Searchable Pro’s 20.

Which Searchable alternative fits you

Start from the engines. If your buyers ask Claude or Grok, Searchable sells both as add-ons. Cituna, LLMrefs and Trakkr include both on the first plan, and Promptwatch lets you pick them among four models. If Gemini and Google AI Mode matter, Cituna, SE Ranking and Gauge include both daily, LLMrefs on a weekly refresh, and Writesonic includes Gemini. If Microsoft Copilot matters, LLMrefs, Goodie and Gauge include it.

Then decide on volume. If you need 100 or more prompts tracked daily from the first plan, Searchable Pro, SE Ranking, Goodie and Gauge offer it. If engine coverage and the work done matter more than prompt count, Cituna covers seven engines for less. For a one-off look before paying for any tracker, our roundup of free AI visibility checkers includes Searchable’s own free report, and our AI visibility tool pricing table compares entry prices side by side.

One way to test: write 20 buyer questions, run them on two trials for three days, and compare the raw answers rather than the scores. Which brands were named, which pages were cited, and which engines did each plan actually check?

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Searchable alternative?

For a team that wants ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews plus Claude, Grok, Gemini and Google AI Mode, all seven checked daily without engine add-ons on a self-serve plan under $100, Cituna: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode checked daily from $39 a month, with the fix for each missing answer written and 30 articles a month drafted for your site. By need after that: LLMrefs for 500 prompts on eleven engines refreshed weekly ($79), Promptwatch for Claude or Grok among four models you pick ($95), Writesonic for content first ($99), Trakkr for eight models on one brand ($100), SE Ranking for AI tracking inside an SEO suite ($129), Goodie for bundled optimization ($399) and Gauge for 600 daily prompts ($599). Rival prices as each vendor’s pricing page showed them between October 1 and October 7, 2026.

How much does Searchable cost?

On searchable.com/pricing, read October 8, 2026: Pro $125 a month (100 tracked prompts, 9,000 AI answers, 20 articles, 200 site audits, one project), Scale $400 (500 prompts, 45,000 answers, 80 articles, 1,000 audits, ten projects, white-label reports and Looker Studio), Enterprise from $999 a month through sales (1,250 prompts, 200 articles, 3,000 audits) and Custom by quote. Annual billing saves 20%, and Pro and Scale start with a 14-day free trial. Engines beyond ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity are paid add-ons, priced after onboarding or through sales.

Does Searchable track Claude, Gemini and Grok?

Only as paid add-ons. Every Searchable plan includes ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity; Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Grok and Claude, plus Lite versions of Claude and Grok, are sold on top (searchable.com/pricing, October 8, 2026). Cituna, LLMrefs and Trakkr include Claude and Grok on their first plans, and Promptwatch lets you choose them among its four models.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Searchable?

Yes, if engines per dollar matter more than prompt volume. Cituna’s $39 Starter includes seven engines against Searchable Pro’s three at $125, but tracks 10 prompts rather than 100. LLMrefs’ $79 plan has more prompts and engines than Searchable Pro, refreshed weekly instead of daily.
