A ChatGPT rank tracker sends the questions your buyers type into ChatGPT, on a schedule, and logs what comes back: whether ChatGPT recommends your brand, where it places you among the brands it lists, whether it links to your site, and which rivals it suggests. Because every AI visibility tool covers ChatGPT, this list is built on what changes the reading rather than on coverage. Cituna checks ChatGPT and six more engines every day from $39 a month and writes the fix for each gap. Seven other trackers follow, each with a reason a ChatGPT buyer might choose it.
Search answers and model answers
ChatGPT answers some questions from what its model learned in training and searches the web for others, especially when the question is about current products, prices or reviews. When it searches, it shows the pages it used, and those pages are where its recommendation comes from. A tracker can capture that answer the way a user sees it, cited pages included, or it can send the prompt to OpenAI’s API, where web search is an option the tool may leave off. An answer from the model alone can name a different set of brands and cites nothing, so it cannot tell you which pages to work on.
Cituna records the answer the ChatGPT product returns, together with the pages it cited. Before you buy any tracker, ask the vendor for the raw text and source list of one stored answer, so you know which kind you are paying for. Three more things separate ChatGPT trackers: how many prompts the entry plan holds, from 10 to 600 a day on this page; whether answers are checked daily; and which other engines run on the same prompts. Our explainer on what a ChatGPT tracker can and cannot show covers why a single reading misleads.
How we chose the eight
Every AI visibility tool tracks ChatGPT, so coverage could not decide this list. Each tool here lists ChatGPT on a plan or free trial you can start without a sales call, and each adds something specific to a ChatGPT reading: a trial with no card, unlimited users, crawler logs, AI bot traffic reporting, Bing Webmaster Tools data, a high daily volume, or a free week of data. The trackers numbered in our Perplexity roundup also cover ChatGPT, so they are summarized after the eight instead of repeated, along with Writesonic GEO, whose no-card trial Omnia already represents here, and the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, which sells ChatGPT tracking inside an SEO suite, as SE Ranking does. We read every price on the vendor’s own pricing page on October 1, 2026. Cituna is our product, so it is listed first. The rest run from the lowest monthly price to the highest, with euro prices placed at their rough dollar value and Profound last because it publishes no price after its trial. The numbers are for finding your place on the page, not a ranking.

Rival figures come from each vendor’s own pricing page, read October 1, 2026 (Peec AI’s prices load with JavaScript, so we read them in a browser), and Cituna’s from cituna.com/pricing. Prices are for monthly billing; on annual billing Omnia is €63 a month and Peec AI $80. Cituna does not track Microsoft Copilot. Spot an outdated figure? Tell us and we will correct it.
The 8 best ChatGPT rank trackers in detail
1. Cituna (best for ChatGPT and six other engines checked daily from $39)
Cituna sends your buyer questions to ChatGPT every day and keeps the answer ChatGPT actually returned, including the web pages it cited when it searched. From each answer it logs whether you were recommended, your place among the brands listed, whether your site was linked, and the rivals ChatGPT named. The same prompts run daily on Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, so a ChatGPT gap can be read against six other engines rather than on its own. The ChatGPT rank tracker page shows the per-prompt view.
Each lost prompt becomes a task with its fix written out: structured data, FAQ markup, an llms.txt entry, or edits to the page ChatGPT should have used. AutoSEO writes 30 articles a month on Starter for questions your site does not cover yet and publishes them to WordPress, Shopify, GitHub or any CMS by webhook. A built-in Search Console connection shows the clicks behind each change, and Claude or another MCP client can read your data from Starter, with write tools on Pro.
Pricing is flat, with all seven engines on each tier: Starter is $39 a month for one brand, 10 prompts and one seat; Pro is $119 for three brands, 30 prompts and five seats; Max is $399 for ten brands, 90 prompts and 15 seats. The trial lasts three days and asks for a card, and nothing is charged during it.
Where Cituna falls short: 10 prompts on Starter is a short list next to Peec AI’s 50 or Scrunch AI’s 125, Starter has a single seat, and Microsoft Copilot is not tracked.
2. Omnia (best for a 14-day trial with no card, and MCP that can read and write)
Omnia’s Growth plan is €79 a month, or €63 a month billed annually, for 25 prompts checked daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, plus 150 credits (useomnia.com/pricing, read October 1, 2026). Claude, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot are listed as available on request. The plan includes MCP with read and write access and sentiment analysis, and its 14-day free trial needs no card; data exports start on Pro. Omnia’s Pro is €279 a month for 100 prompts, and Enterprise starts at €499.
For ChatGPT, Omnia lets you run two weeks of readings before entering payment details, and lets an AI agent act on the data through MCP. Where it falls short: 25 prompts is a small set, Grok does not appear on its plans, and engines beyond the first four come by request.
3. Peec AI (best for ChatGPT for a whole team on 50 prompts)
Peec AI’s Starter is $95 a month on monthly billing, or $80 a month billed annually, for 50 prompts tracked daily in one project, and every plan has unlimited users (peec.ai/pricing, read in a browser on October 1, 2026). ChatGPT takes one of the three model slots on the self-serve plans; the other two come from Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, and extra models cost more. Peec AI’s Pro is $245 for 150 prompts, Advanced is $495 for 350 prompts across several countries, and Enterprise, priced on request, opens every model with API access and SSO.
For ChatGPT, Peec AI gives everyone on a team the daily ChatGPT readings for 50 prompts at no extra cost per seat. Where it falls short: Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral and Meta appear only on Enterprise, and three models is a narrow set if your buyers ask more than ChatGPT and Google.
4. Promptwatch (best for ChatGPT plus a log of AI crawler visits)
Promptwatch’s Essential plan costs $95 a month for 50 prompts checked daily, one seat, and four models chosen from a list that includes OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google, Claude, Gemini, Meta, DeepSeek and Grok (promptwatch.com/pricing, read October 1, 2026). Promptwatch Essential includes MCP and API access, an AI crawler log allowance of 1.5K, and a 7-day free trial. Promptwatch Professional, at $245, moves to 150 prompts, two seats, a 25M crawler log allowance and five AEO articles; Business, at $579, is sold through a demo.
For ChatGPT, the crawler logs can show whether OpenAI’s bots have fetched a page before you expect ChatGPT to cite it. Where Promptwatch falls short: Essential has one seat and four models, and articles start on the $245 plan.
5. Scrunch AI (best for ChatGPT beside AI bot traffic)
Scrunch AI’s Core plan is $250 a month for 125 prompts (5,000 responses a month), one brand, five user licenses and five site audits a month, tracked on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot, with a report of AI bot traffic to your site and a 7-day free trial (scrunch.com/pricing, read October 1, 2026). Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Meta AI and Grok come with the custom Enterprise plan.
For ChatGPT, Scrunch AI shows which AI crawlers reach the pages you want ChatGPT to cite, next to the answers themselves. Where Scrunch AI falls short: Core has no API or MCP access, Claude, Gemini and Grok need Enterprise, and there is no plan below $250.
6. Goodie AI (best for ChatGPT beside Bing Webmaster Tools and Search Console data)
Goodie AI’s Core plan is $399 a month, with two months free on annual billing, for 120 prompts checked daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot, plus 50 optimizations a month and a 7-day free trial (higoodie.com/pricing, read October 1, 2026). Goodie AI connects Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Goodie AI’s Pro, at $999 a month, raises the list to 250 prompts and adds Gemini, Alexa and Sparky; Claude and Grok come with Enterprise.
For ChatGPT, the Bing connection is the useful part: ChatGPT’s web search draws on a Bing-derived index, so Bing’s crawl and index data sit close to what ChatGPT can find. Where Goodie AI falls short: Gemini starts at $999, and Claude and Grok need an Enterprise contract.
7. Gauge (best for 600 prompts a day with articles)
Gauge’s only self-serve plan, Growth, costs $599 a month with a one-week free trial and runs 600 prompts every day across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, which Gauge counts as 108,000 answers a month (withgauge.com/pricing, read October 1, 2026). Gauge’s Growth includes 18 articles a month, five seats, GA4 and Search Console, and MCP. Claude and Grok are on the custom Enterprise plan, or on Growth when you connect your own Anthropic or xAI API key, billed by that provider.
For ChatGPT, that volume lets each buyer question run in several phrasings every day, so one odd answer moves the share less. Where Gauge falls short: the entry price is $599 with no smaller plan, and Claude and Grok need Enterprise or your own API keys.
8. Profound (best for a free week of ChatGPT data before an Enterprise contract)
Profound offers brands a free trial and then a custom Enterprise plan (tryprofound.com/pricing, read October 1, 2026). The trial checks 50 prompts a day for seven days on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, using a prompt set chosen for your industry that you cannot change, and it keeps no history or exports. Enterprise publishes no price and covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Exa Search.
For ChatGPT, the trial shows at no cost how ChatGPT treats your industry. Where Profound falls short: you cannot test your own prompts on the trial, Grok is not listed, and ongoing tracking means a contract at an unpublished price.

How to track your rankings on ChatGPT over time
You can build a baseline by hand before paying for anything:
- Fix a list of 10 to 20 buyer questions and never reword them between checks, because a reworded question is a new question.
- Ask each in a fresh chat, logged out or in a temporary chat, so memory and past conversations do not steer the answer.
- Note whether ChatGPT searched the web. When it does, it lists its sources; copy every source URL.
- Record the outcome: whether you were recommended, where you sat among the brands, whether your site was linked, and which rivals were named.
- Repeat on a schedule, weekly at least and daily for the first week, so you learn the normal spread, and date every pass.
- Judge the share, not one answer: the percentage of questions where you appear, compared month over month.
Twenty questions checked daily is 600 answers a month to log for one engine, which is the work a tracker takes on. Our answer to whether a ChatGPT rank tracker exists explains how the tools automate it. If ChatGPT never lists your pages among its sources, a free crawler readiness check shows whether AI crawlers can reach them.
Choosing a ChatGPT rank tracker
Every tool here reads ChatGPT, so choose on what surrounds it. If you want ChatGPT read with its sources every day, six more engines on the same run, and the fix written for every prompt you lose, choose Cituna, from $39 a month. If you need hundreds of prompts on one plan, Gauge carries 600 a day; if your team wants to trial with no card, Omnia; if a whole team needs the analytics, Peec AI.
