Rankscale Pricing 2026: Credits, Plans and What They Cover

Rankscale charges in credits: Pro is $99 a month for 1,200 credits and Enterprise $780 for 12,000, with a Claude run costing eight times a ChatGPT one. Every Rankscale plan and credit cost, read October 17, 2026, next to Cituna’s seven AI engines checked daily from $39 a month.

Published

Rankscale charges in credits, not in prompts. On monthly billing its plans are Pro at $99 a month for 1,200 credits, Pro+ at $229 for 3,000, Growth at $385 for 5,500 and Enterprise at $780 for 12,000. Rankscale takes 15% off for yearly billing, and its smallest plan, Essentials, is shown as $17 a month, yearly only. A Rankscale run on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Mode costs 0.25 credits and a run on Claude costs 2, so what you pay depends on which engines you pick and how often they run. For all seven engines Cituna covers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode) checked daily at a flat price, with the fix written for each gap, the pick is Cituna, from $39 a month.

Picks by need:

  • Seven engines checked daily for one flat price, Claude and Grok included, with the fix generated for each gap: Cituna, from $39 a month for 10 prompts.
  • The longest engine list, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek and Mistral among them, or hourly scheduling: Rankscale Pro, $99 a month for 1,200 credits.
  • REST API access to your monitoring data: Rankscale Pro+, $229 a month.
  • White-label dashboards for agency clients: Rankscale Growth, $385 a month.
  • The smallest yearly commitment: Rankscale Essentials, $204 a year.

How we checked. We read Rankscale’s pricing page on October 17, 2026, from the HTML the page sends before its scripts run, together with the price offers the page publishes in its structured data. The yearly totals are Rankscale’s own figures. The “answers tracked” column is Rankscale’s ceiling at 0.25 credits a run; a Rankscale plan that runs Claude reaches fewer. The Essentials column of Rankscale’s comparison table fills in its numbers with script, so we could not read its credit allowance.

One Rankscale price does not agree with itself. The comparison table shows Essentials at $17 a month with a struck-through $20 and the label “Yearly only”, but the same page’s structured data lists two Essentials offers: $204 a year and $20 a month. We treat Rankscale Essentials as yearly only because that is what the visible page says; ask Rankscale whether a $20 monthly Essentials plan exists before you budget on it.

Every Rankscale plan shares the same base, per its comparison table: unlimited search terms (creating them is free, running them spends credits), all regions, scheduling from hourly to monthly, an MCP connection for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, and credits you can top up at any time. From Pro up, Rankscale adds team workspaces with unlimited seats and no per-seat charge, and unused credits roll over, capped at twice the monthly allowance on Pro and Pro+ and three times on Growth and Enterprise.

What each Rankscale plan adds

  • Rankscale Essentials, $204 a year. Visibility, competitor and citation tracking, prompt research, query fan-out, Scout recommendations and MCP. The table marks sentiment analysis, shopping and ad analysis, exports, credit rollover and unlimited seats as not included.
  • Rankscale Pro, $99 a month. 1,200 credits, 10 brand dashboards, 50 page audits a month, sentiment analysis, shopping and ad analysis, custom dashboards, CSV and Sheets exports, shareable dashboards and a Looker Studio connection. Pro is the plan with the free trial: Rankscale offers 7 days of Pro at no charge.
  • Rankscale Pro+, $229 a month. 3,000 credits, 25 brand dashboards, 100 page audits, REST API access and five prompt research runs included each month.
  • Rankscale Growth, $385 a month. 5,500 credits, 50 brand dashboards, 200 page audits, white-label dashboard links, the REST API, priority support, early access to new features and Rankscale’s agency program: referral commissions, a listing in its partner directory, webinars and a private Slack channel.
  • Rankscale Enterprise, $780 a month. 12,000 credits, 100 brand dashboards, 200 page audits, the REST API, white-label links and a dedicated partner.
  • Rankscale Custom. A plan built around your credit volume, with SSO, a custom API, SLA guarantees and a dedicated success manager, priced on request.

Rankscale’s home page lists 17+ engines on every plan, with no per-engine upsell, naming ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Copilot, DeepSeek and Meta’s Muse Spark; its FAQ adds Mistral and Grok. On October 17, 2026, the same home page also listed a “GA4 and Search Console (beta)” connection.

How Rankscale credits work

Rankscale spends a credit each time it asks one engine one of your prompts. The credit calculator on Rankscale’s pricing page showed these costs per run on October 17, 2026:

Rankscale credits per run, by engine
EngineRankscale credits per run
ChatGPT0.25
Perplexity0.25
Gemini0.25
Google AI Mode0.25
DeepSeek1
Claude2

Source: the credit calculator on rankscale.ai/pricing, read October 17, 2026. Only engines with a visible credit cost are listed.

The calculator shows those six engines with prices and 15 more beside them, 21 entries in all, which backs the “17+” on Rankscale’s home page. The 15 are AI Overview and Copilot run through their own interfaces plus 13 API models, several of them versions of the same family (three Perplexity Sonar models, three GPT models, three Gemini models and two Claude models). The HTML we read did not show a credit cost for any of the 15, and Grok was not among the calculator’s named entries, so we leave them out of the examples below.

So the monthly credit count of a prompt set is prompts x credits per run across the engines you pick x runs a month. Rankscale’s own example, 50 prompts on three 0.25-credit engines run weekly, comes to 162.5 credits a month, which fits easily inside Rankscale Pro. Daily tracking is where the plan choice changes. The examples below assume 30 runs a month.

Rankscale credits for a daily prompt set, and the smallest plan that covers it
Daily prompt setCredits a monthSmallest Rankscale plan that covers it
10 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode10 x 1.0 x 30 = 300Pro, $99
The same 10 prompts plus Claude10 x 3.0 x 30 = 900Pro, $99
30 prompts on those five engines30 x 3.0 x 30 = 2,700Pro+, $229
90 prompts on those five engines90 x 3.0 x 30 = 8,100Enterprise, $780

Our arithmetic from Rankscale’s per-run credit costs, read October 17, 2026.

Claude is the engine that moves the Rankscale bill. At Rankscale Pro’s rate of $99 for 1,200 credits, a ChatGPT answer costs about 2 cents and a Claude answer about 17 cents. Run the 90-prompt set weekly instead of daily and it drops to about 1,170 credits, back inside Rankscale Pro, so the schedule matters as much as the prompt count.

Rankscale against a flat price, like for like

Cituna’s plans are priced by prompts, with every prompt asked of all seven engines every day and no credit meter:

Rankscale read October 17, 2026; Cituna from cituna.com/pricing on the same date.

The Rankscale column counts ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude only, because those are the engines whose credit cost we could read. Adding Grok and Google AI Overviews, which Cituna includes, would raise the Rankscale credit count, not lower it. Rankscale’s yearly prices are 15% lower than the column shows.

Where Cituna fits beside Rankscale

Cituna asks your buyers’ questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode every day, shows which answers name a competitor instead of you and which pages they cite, and writes the fix: schema, FAQ markup, llms.txt and page changes, plus AI-written articles published to your site. Google Search Console is built in, and API keys work on every paid plan.

  • Cituna Starter, $39 a month: 10 prompts checked daily on all seven engines, 1 brand, 1 seat, 30 AI-written articles a month, Search Console, API keys and MCP read access from Claude.
  • Cituna Pro, $119 a month: 30 prompts on all seven engines, 3 brands, 5 seats, 90 articles a month, backlink, keyword and SERP-rank data, and MCP read and write tools.
  • Cituna Max, $399 a month: 90 prompts on all seven engines, 10 brands, 15 seats, 300 articles a month, the highest data and MCP allowances and priority support.

Where Cituna falls short against Rankscale: Cituna covers seven engines, not 17+, and does not track Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek or Meta’s Muse Spark. Cituna has no sentiment analysis and no shopping or ad analysis, both of which Rankscale’s comparison table lists from Pro up. Cituna checks daily, not hourly, and caps seats per plan where Rankscale’s Pro and higher plans include unlimited seats. For a full feature comparison, see Cituna vs Rankscale or the Rankscale alternatives we compare.

Which Rankscale plan fits which team

  • One brand, a few dozen prompts, mostly on 0.25-credit engines: Rankscale Pro at $99, or $84.15 a month on yearly billing.
  • Daily tracking with Claude on more than about 13 prompts: Rankscale Pro’s 1,200 credits run out (13 prompts x 3.0 x 30 = 1,170), so budget for Rankscale Pro+ at $229.
  • An agency reselling reports: Rankscale Growth at $385, the first Rankscale plan with white-label dashboard links.
  • You want to try it first: the 7-day Rankscale Pro trial. Run your real prompt set on your real engines for the week and read the credit total before you pick a plan.

Questions to settle with Rankscale before you buy

  • What do Grok, Google AI Overviews and Copilot cost per run, and do the interface-run engines cost more than the API ones?
  • Is Essentials yearly only at $204, or is there a $20 monthly Essentials plan, and how many credits does it include?
  • Is the GA4 and Search Console connection still in beta, and on which plans?
  • What happens to scheduled runs when the month’s credits run out before the cycle ends?
